Indian Summers: The Complete Second Season [Blu-Ray Box Set]

Set in a subtropical paradise during the twilight era of the British Empire, PBS Masterpiece Indian Summers – available from Shopville as a Blu-ray box set – explores the collision of the ruling class English with their Indian subjects, and the intricate game of power, politics, and passion that ensues.

Julie Walters (Harry Potter, Oscar nominee for Billy Elliot and Educating Rita) stars as Cynthia Coffin, the glamorous doyenne of an English social club, and is joined by Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Jemima West, Nikesh Patel, Roshan Seth, and Lillete Dubey.

It is 1935. Three years have passed, and as the seasons turn, so too do the machinations of a rising revolution. As a new summer falls upon the foothills of India’s Little England, Simla, political tensions reach fever point. With help from the scheming Cynthia (Julie Walters), Ralph faces the most pivotal year of his career.
